Seven Devils Solitaire
Seven Devils gets its name from the seven reserve piles. It is played with two standard decks (104 cards) and otherwise plays identically to Klondike. The objective is to build the eight foundations up by suit from Ace to King.
Skill Level: Mostly Luck
Winning is mostly determined by luck. A small amount of skill is involved.
How to Play Seven Devils
Game Objective
Move all cards to the eight foundations.
Foundation Rules
- There are eight foundations.
- An Ace may move to an empty foundation.
- The foundations build up by the same suit.
- For example the 5♠ may move onto the 4♠ and the 5♦ may move onto the 4♦. Starting with the 5♣ the following sequence can build on top 6♣ 7♣ 8♣ 9♣.
- The top card is movable.
Tableau Rules
- There are seven tableaus.
- Any card may move to an empty tableau.
- The tableaus build down by alternating colors.
- For example the 9♠ may move onto the 10♦ and the 9♥ may move onto the 10♣. Starting with the 9♥ the following sequence can build on top 8♠ 7♦ 6♣.
- The top card is movable.
Reserve Rules
- There are seven reserves.
- The top card is movable.
Stock Rules
- An unlimited number of passes through the stock is permitted. There is no restriction on how many times the waste can be redealt to the stock.
- The stock deals one card face up to the waste when tapped.
Waste Rules
- There is one waste.
