How to Play Chinese FreeCell
Game Objective
The goal of Chinese FreeCell is to move all 78 cards to the foundation piles. You achieve this by building sequences of cards up by suit that start with an Ace and end with a King. You win when the six foundations each contain a complete sequence of thirteen cards.
Foundation Rules
- There are six foundations.
- An Ace may move to an empty foundation.
- The foundations build up by the same suit.
- For example the 7♠ may move onto the 6♠ and the 7♦ may move onto the 6♦. Starting with the 7♥ the following sequence can build on top 8♥ 9♥ 10♥ J♥.
Cell Rules
- There are four cells.
- Any card may move to an empty cell space. A cell can hold only one card.
- The top card is movable.
Tableau Rules
- There are eleven tableaus.
- A King may move to an empty tableau. No other cards may move to an empty tableau.
- The tableaus build down by any other suit.
- For example the 8♠ may move onto the 9♥ and 9♦. Starting with the 8♥ the following sequence can build on top 7♠ 6♥ 5♦ 4♠.
- The top card is movable.
