Barricade A Solitaire
Barricade A is played with two standard decks (104 cards). There are twelve tableaus that contain three cards each. The objective is to build the eight foundations up by rank regardless of suit.
How to Play Barricade A
Game Objective
The goal of Barricade A is to move all 104 cards to the foundation piles. You achieve this by building sequences of cards up by rank regardless of suit starting with an Ace and ending with a King. You win when the eight foundations each contain a complete sequence of thirteen cards.
Foundation Rules
- There are eight foundations.
- An Ace may move to an empty foundation.
- Empty tableau spaces fill with a card from the stock.
- The foundations build up by rank regardless of suit starting with an Ace and ending with a King.
- For example the 5♠ may move onto the 4♠, 4♥, 4♣ and 4♦. Starting with the 5♥ the following sequence can build on top 6♠ 7♠ 8♦ 9♣.
Tableau Rules
- There are twelve tableaus.
- The tableaus build down by rank regardless of suit.
- For example the J♠ may move onto the Q♠, Q♥, Q♣ and Q♦. Starting with the J♥ the following sequence can build on top 10♠ 9♠ 8♦ 7♣.
- Empty tableau spaces fill with a card from the stock.
- Any card may move to an empty tableau.
- Empty tableau spaces fill with a card from the stock.
- The top card is movable.
