Ants Solitaire
Ants is a closed game played with a single deck (52 cards). There are four tableaus that contain one cards each. The objective is to move all cards to the four foundations by building them up or down regardless of suit.
How to Play Ants
Build foundations up or down regardless of suit and wrap around on Kings and Aces. Fill empty foundations with any card. No building on the tableau. Stock deals one to each tableau.
Game Objective
The goal of Ants is to move all fifty-two cards to the foundation piles. You achieve this by building sequences of cards up or down regardless of suit that start with an Ace and end with a King. You win when the four foundations each contain a complete sequence of thirteen cards.
Foundation Rules
- There are four foundations.
- Initially containing one card face up in each foundation.
- The foundations build up or down regardless of suit. Foundations may build around either corner (an Ace may move onto a King or a King may move onto an Ace).
- For example the 9♠ may move onto the 8♥ or the 10♣. Starting with the Q♥ the following sequence may build on top K♠ A♠ K♦ Q♣.
- The top card is movable.
- Any single card may move to an empty foundation.
Tableau Rules
- There are four tableaus.
- Initially containing one card face up in each tableau.
- The top card is movable.
- Once empty the tableaus remain empty until more cards move from the stock.
Stock Rules
- The stock deals one card face up to each tableau when tapped.
- A single pass through the stock is permitted. Redeals are not possible. Once on the tableau, cards remain until used in a valid move.
